1st & 2nd Grade Girls Lacrosse

Great Valley Youth Lacrosse Association (GVYL) is open to girls in 1st through 8th grade who reside in the Great Valley School District in Pennsylvania. Our girls’ program participates in the Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse Association (PAGLA) league each spring.

No prior experience is required! Through skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, our coaches and volunteers foster a positive, supportive environment for all players. The program is designed to encourage growth, confidence, and a love for the game—whether athletes are brand new to lacrosse or building on existing skills. Our goal is to help develop well-rounded young athletes and teammates, both on and off the field.

Players in 1st and 2nd grade will participate in a clinic-style program focused on teaching fundamental lacrosse skills in a fun, engaging setting. Each session will include age-appropriate drills and end with a scrimmage. As players gain a basic understanding of the game, we will introduce scrimmages and playdays after the first few practices.
